Release Notes
| It's been over 6 years. Been busy on other projects. No major new features, but a massive refactoring in preparation
for possibly doing more work on this in the near future. You shouldn't notice anything different, except
for different page titles and URLs. |
Bug Fixes:
- #18: Weak wrapping in messages was causing havoc in <pre> areas
New Features
- Ads now alternate between Linkexchange and ClickAgents as source
- Browse up and down threads in message boards
- Browse through global messages, linked from homepage. Also random message
links on homepage
- My Messages, My Ratings sections added for registered users
|
Bug Fixes:
- #15: Production server didn't support random selection. Found workaround
- #16: Rollout script was not changing db conn parameters for iframed and ilayers objects
- #17: New Main Menu didn't support Admin functionality
New Features
- Help functionality on Add/Edit Event page for iframes/ilayer interactivity
- Link to old Add/Edit Event page if it doesn't work on your browser
|
Bug Fixes:
- #11: Typo in DBConnection::getSingleScalar
- #12: Administrator was not given an "Edit" link on the search results page
- #13: Time of an event was not getting undefined properly if only one of the
time fields was changed to "---"
- #14: Returning user auto login feature was corrupting the cookie. This caused
the user to have to login to work, but it would fail the time after. Took a while
to track this down, but I think I got it.
New Features:
- Event, Artist, and Venue Rating System added
- Event, Artist, and Venue Message Board (Reviews!) System added
- Search mechanism in Add/Edit Event page replaces old dropdown list. Much nice
on new browsers.
- Email Address verification system added to prevent abuse as much as possible.
- PHP web script for admin to send email re: site upgrades
- Added Advertisements (okay, so maybe that's not really a feature)
- Added "My Favorites" -- listing of all entities a user rated 8 or higher
- Shrinking banner when user is not just entering the site
- Many small UI improvements -- too numerous to mention
- These new screens: Release Notes, FAQ, Contact Info, About, Privacy, Disclaimer,
Browser Requirements
